The Fund for Public Health in New York City (FPHNYC), on behalf of the Building Healthy Communities (BHC) initiative, is currently accepting proposals for community based organizations interested in implementing nutrition education and/or cooking workshops for residents of the Corona, Flushing, and Queensbridge communities. Applicants are encouraged to incorporate Health Bucks coupons as an incentive in their programming, provided that there are markets and/or fresh food boxes that residents can access using Health Bucks ($2 coupons redeemable for fresh fruit and vegetables at all NYC farmers markets and most fresh food box sites).
