With more than 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, Ms. Dixon combines the desire to “do good” with the drive to design and implement systems that make workplaces more efficient and effective. She has played an essential role in managing organizational change due to rapid growth and mission shift.
Ms. Dixon is also an accomplished fundraiser. Before joining the Fund, she served as the Chief Operating Officer of the Jewish Funds for Justice (now Bend the Arc), an organization whose mission is to connect Jews who want to create economic opportunity and secure basic rights for everyone in the U.S. with the tools they need to do so, working collaboratively across lines of race and faith.
Previous positions include fundraiser for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Community Center of New York and Director of Operations for the Horticultural Society of New York. Ms. Dixon holds an MS in Nonprofit Management from The New School’s Milano School of International Affairs, Management, and Urban Policy, and a BS from SUNY Environmental Science and Forestry at Syracuse.
