Go! Queens Rides


The Fund for Public Health in New York City (FPHNYC), on behalf of the Building Healthy Communities (BHC) initiative, is currently accepting proposals for community based organizations and groups interested in increasing community members’ use of bicycles in the neighborhoods of Corona and Flushing, Queens.

 

BHC is partnering with the New York City Department of Transportation Bicycle and Greenway Program to encourage cycling as a way to increase physical activity.

The deadline for submission is June 29, 2018 at 11:59PM EST. Proposals must be submitted via email as a PDF to mstrajcher@fphnyc.org.

 

Below is a detailed timeline of events related to this Request for Proposals process. Unless otherwise specified, the time of day for the following events will be between 9:00AM and 5:00PM EST.

 

Important Dates:

Release of Request for Proposals: Wednesday, June 6, 2018

Deadline for Receipt of Proposals: June 29, 2018, 11:59PM EST

Notice of Selection: July 2018

Grant Timeline: All activities must be completed by January 1, 2019

Final Report: January 30, 2019
